Graphdrawer and Mathemathic Equation Evaluator of Expressions
Skalický, Ivo ; Rychnovský, Lukáš (referee) ; Lukáš, Roman (advisor)
This work deals with utilization of precedence syntax analysis for conversion of mathematical expression into dynamic object model in order of evaluate and go on processing expressions. Objective was to create a program, which connects function of scientific calculator and graph drawer. Program can evaluate mathematical expressions in scope of real numbers, calculate fractional expressions, numerically integrate and analytically derive in accordance with a given parameter. Besides it provides function for depiction of any given curve explicitly, implicitly or parametricly into 2D graph. Graphic output can be exported in selectable resolution into several basic raster and vector formats. On account of portability Java was chosen as a language of implementation.
Education Computer Program for Trigonometry
Plíšek, Martin ; Kubíček, Radek (referee) ; Štancl, Vít (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with teaching math's problems. Main objective is teaching goniometry functions for basic schools. There have been made two applications for these purposes. First application named Goniometrie is oriented to teach goniomety functions on projection onto rectangular triangle or by presentation graphs of these functions. Second application is example editor ( Editor ), which is designed to creating examples for application Goniometrie . These examples can be useful for teaching.
Relations of a function and its graph
Drahovský, Matej ; Zajíček, Luděk (advisor) ; Honzík, Petr (referee)
In presented work we study relation between a real function, or a map between two metric spaces, and its graph, a subset of Cartesian product of two metric spaces. Mainly, we will focus on real function of one real variable, but if possible theorems will be concerning maps between other metric spaces. In first chapter we study functions with closed graph. First we characterize these functions by their limit points and then, under some additional conditions, we characterize set of points of discontinuity of a function with closed graph. In second chapter, we introduce Hausdorff distance of subsets of metric space and we will show relations between different types of convergence of functions and convergence of Hausdorff distance of their graphs to zero. In the last chapter, we define Gibbs phenomenon from the theory of Fourier series as convergence of Hausdorff distance of graphs of partial sums of Fourier series from modified graph of approximated function to zero. 1
